Angela Sunario wanted to balance science with strategy. Now she’s on track to a management consulting career in the healthcare sector, thanks to the experience she’s gaining in the UBC B+MM Dual Degree Program.

Exploring these two different disciplines—science and business—simultaneously allows Angela to take valuable lessons from one and translate them to the other.

"By doing my B.Sc. at the same time as an MM, I’m learning how to apply my science knowledge to the area of management consulting I’m interested in," she says.

Soon Angela will begin an internship at a global pharmaceutical company in Germany, where she’ll work with their in-house consulting group. "It’s the perfect combination of my science background and business education.”
